W.W.W. British WW2 Military Watch

JLC cal. 479

one of the 'Dirty Dozen'

Beautiful and very desirable British Defense Ministry Issue Jaeger LeCoultre watch dated 1942-43 approx.

The watch is in great condition considering its age, the movement has been recently serviced and is keeping good time.

The dial is in original, untouched condition.

JLC actually designed a new caliber which was used exclusively in their MoD watches. While the population of both military and standard watches housing IWC Cal. 83 and Omega 30T2 movements probably runs into the millions, that of the JLC Caliber 479 is likely closer to 10,000
