Up-Down Military Chronograph
1938-1939 / World War II period
with Venus 170 movement and Black Dial
Extremely rare Military chronograph issued to German Airforce Luftwaffe in years 1938-1939 (Spanish Civil War and invasion of Poland), before it replaced in early 1940s with Hanhart and Glashuette chronographs.
Unlike other military watches from that period, this one is in shock resistant stainless steel case (rather then nickel plated) according to Luftwaffe spec and has large round pushers (rather then flat) which allow to operate the chronograph by Aircraft crew wearing gloves.
